Note-taking is a very personal thing. It needs to be easy, distraction-free, and quick. Logseq is one of many tools that approach the idea of digital gardening or knowledge management, in that you can create notes that link to other notes, creating a network of ideas.
Some of these tools encourage you to work a certain way, they aren't just tools, they're almost methodologies, or ways of working, turned into tools.
This site, The Introduction to the Zettelkasten Method, gives you some flavour of all this stuff, and wiki thinking - well worth a look.
BTW: THIS VERY SITE is created using a Python tool called Pelican Why? Well who needs another bloody content management system, or site like Wordpress to battle with when all you want to do is publish some words.
